YEAR IN REVIEW – 2009
JANUARY: Got KanCoon Harlequin finished a few weeks before FC. Had a small Birthday dinner at Claim Jumper. The US got the first "mixed" (not 100% black) President, thank goodness a DEMOCRAT! FC was decent. ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) panzier stayed a week after and we drove to the Grapevine, then took a direct right to the sea, then up to Monterey. KanCoon won first place in Journeyman at FC. (last time I can enter that level)
FEBRUARY: Held my 3rd Annual "Anti-Valentine’s Day Dinner" at The Garrett. Devin came down for the weekend to join me for that and cooked a terrific dinner! Wow, Not much else happened in February!
MARCH: Went with Colson to get his tattoo. It turned out nice! I took a trip to Reno and I played a lot of disc golf, and bowling. It snowed on the way back and I got scared. Battlestar Galactica ended and that was a great series!
Had a geek day with a BUNCH of friends at the Computer History Museum in Mt View.
Got a shiny new Lap Top: Toshiba Satellite P305-s8904
APRIL:Went with Phil, Richard, and Aaron to "Ardenwood Tartan Day" I was Ace McFluff, who does wear a kilt!
Colson and I took a trip down to LA for a FurHunt for him. Was a fun weekend!
Mountain View Spring Parade was a bunch of fun! I was Ace the Super Dog!
MAY: Saw the "new" Star Trek movie and really liked it. Sold the molds to Vortex’s hooves. Maker Faire was a blast. The Electric Giraffe looked even better than before!
JUNE: Skipped Vahalla this year, didn’t feel like going. Went up to Kat’s place, went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Visited kittens at PetSmart (and didn’t take one home, that was hard!) The show "Merlin" started on NBC. I hope they bring it back.
JULY: Took a trip down to San Diego to visit with grevydude aka Lindz. Had a terrific long weekend with him. He showed me around. We did the Zoo and Wild Animal Park, and had a BBQ at his house.
Saw Duran Duran back to back in concert (15th and 16th time) and they were great as always!
Went to Whole Foods for the first time and fell in love with the Olive Bar and their cheeses there! I got hooked on this place for the rest of the summer!
Bought myself a new stereo/CD/iPod player for my vanity in my bathroom. I needed to replace the 20 year old boombox I have had in there for years.
AUGUST: Went to Whole Foods a couple times during this month again. Saw District 9 and it was an AWESOME movie! TV lamp went POOF and I had to buy another one.
SEPTEMBER: Went on a 10 day trip to Canada! I had a BLAST!! I got to stay with scribble_fox and havoas_mike half the time and frysco the other half of the time. It was gorgeous up there and I had all Sorts of fun!
Later in the month I did the Dragon Boat Races in SF with Phil, Richard, and Marianne. Those were a lot of fun!
OCTOBER: I gave Phil a surprise, an early Xmas present – the green Asian dragon costume he has been wearing since September. Fu Ming Lung is his name. I have never made someone so happy. :D It makes ME super happy he loves him so much!
Got news that both razor_wulff and panzier will be my roommates at FC 2010!
Got my first Flu Shot in my life. Helped with Society Dogs Halloween Dog Walk. Didn’t do anything on actual Halloween because I had to work that whole day and it ruined my day.
NOVEMBER:On Kiji’s Bday, I helped cook some Fondues. The beer and cheddar one was the best!
Got "Employee Quarter of the Year"! I was pleased! Nice bonus came with that on top of the Quartly Bonus the company employees got due to having the BEST quarter EVER!! My company is doing JUST fine!
I got lucky and got a Non Stop flight on stand by with Aaron to MFF! MFF Con was OK this year, definitely not one of the best, but was good. I got to room with Panzier!
Thanksgiving was good with Family! I also took the turkey carcass and made TERRIFIC soup!
DECEMBER: Mt View Tree lighting was a ton of fun with a TON of people and fursuiters! Had a goodbye Fursuit Bowling day for Uck. Lots of people showed up for that and dinner! Did Crawdaddys for the first time (I will be going back)
Had Xmas day with a bunch of people I didn’t know, Mike was helping with dinner there and invited me along. It was a nice xmas.
All in all 2009 for me wasn’t to bad, if not too exciting.
